How to Use the SmartCool Pro Hat for Active Cooling

Remove the Crown for Cooling

Detach the crown of the hat to allow the fans to blow air directly onto your head for maximum cooling.

Powering the Fans

Connect the USB cable to a power bank to supply power to the fans.Press the power button to activate the fans.

1st press: High-speed cooling.

2nd press: Medium speed.

3rd press: Low speed.

4th press: Turns the fans off.

Important Notes:

If you’re using a standard power bank, it may automatically shut off after the fans have been off for a while. To restart, simply press the power button on the power bank. For a seamless experience, consider using an always-on power bank designed for wearable devices. These are optimized to stay on even with low current draw.

Additional Tips:

If it rains or gets cold, you can safely reattach the crown to protect yourself from the elements.

Care Instruction

Before washing the hat, remove the four fans. Each fan is numbered, so note the number and its position to ensure proper reassembly later. Hand wash only, avoid chlorine, do not machine dry, and use low-temperature ironing if needed.

The DC Barrel Connectors Setup

To Connect

Align the Connectors

Hold the male plug and female socket so that the locking groove on the male connector aligns with the slot on the female connector.

Insert the Plug

Gently push the male plug into the female socket until it is fully seated.

Twist to Lock

Once inserted, rotate the male plug counter-clockwise until the groove of the male plug becomes visible in the small window on the female socket, indicating it is securely locked in place.

Verify Connection

Gently pull the cable to ensure the plug stays in place.

To Disconnect

Twist to Unlock

Rotate the male connector clockwise to align its groove with the slot of the female connector (the groove will no longer be visible in the window).

Pull Out the Plug

Once aligned, carefully pull the male plug straight out of the female socket.

Cable Protection

Attach the cable to the adjustable hat string with the Velcro strip to protect it from accidental pulling.
